i don't know if i'm being a worrywart but there's something about the obamas that remind me a lot of the kennedys. both presidents were charismatic, young, both had strong first ladies. both were supposed to be different from their time, heralding a new age. they weren't mavericks but they were and are something.the party i worry about is some idiot will try to kill obama (god forbid). and there is a strong risk of that.
but you know what, i really hope not. obama is the embodiment of the american dream. america is supposed to be this mix of cultures and races, maybe more so than any other country. and now their president is the epitome of the american dream.
it's funny how i talk more about obama than i do my own president. maybe because he does bring hope and the concept of change in a world where it's the way the game is played that's important. he makes it admirable to be a politician again.

yea a lot of people worry about this. i know of some people who actually think that he won't be able to finish his term! but you know what, he is THE PRESIDENT now, so that makes him the most protected person on earth =)
